Our spring break started off at Winter Park. We stayed at Tom and Corine's condo again for 4 days. We had heaps of fun inside since the weather was snowy but then had one day of sunshine.
Boys running around naked and playing a game of chase on the couch. It was hilarious to watch! They are playing so well together, what fun!
Sledding and snowball fight with Aunt Mo and Uncle Jon. They came over for dinner afterward and eat some Chicken Curry with wine.
Our second day of sledding was with Jonas' buddy, Asher, and his family. They came up for the day and spent some time with us.
Played racquetball in the courts and swam in the pool and hot tub. It's so exhilarating to swim while there is snow on the ground. Asher and his family came over for dinner.
We tried snowskiing with Jonas the last day but it decided to snow feet again. And it was too cold! We lasted 1 run.
On the way home Wednesday evening, we crossed over Berthoud Pass in which they closed it after we made it over because of an avalanche. Covered 2 cars! God was protecting us!
While we were driving, Jonas wanted to play a game. I started off saying a word and he would say the opposite word of it. Matt and I were at the point where we couldn't think of any more opposite words so Matt said 'barefeet' and Jonas said 'shoefeet'. We all laughed! Jonas surprises us everyday all the things he knows without even really teaching him. It just clicks! One day last week he was climbing on the jungle gym on the edge and said, 'Mom, look, I'm being precarious!'
