Pumpkin Palooza

Our church put off a pumpkin festival Saturday evening so Matt started on making Thomas the tank engine 4 hours before.

Silas wanted to be involved.

Sir Topham Hatt pulling Thomas. Isn't this amazing? Matt even wanted to dress up at STH...that was amazing too!

Photo op!

By the end of the night, Thomas was ruined by all the kids jumping in and out of it. But it was cute and the boys loved it!

Anderson Farms

First of all, sorry I am posting a lot of photos from our amazing trip to a pumpkin festival but we had so much fun that I had to share them.

October 30th and it was 75 degrees outside. A perfect day to enjoy a day filled with fall activities for our little ones.

Pumpkin patch

Another perfect opportunity to shoot photos of Silas standing on Matt's hands. He loves it!

All abroad! Barrel train! Silas and I were cracking up in the back because we were getting wiped around in the back. It was hilarious!

Pedal Karts

Mine cars...redneck rollercoaster! Jonas' best friend, Haley, and her parents came along and had a great time together.

Farm animals! Silas said "Ga" for goat today.

What a daredevil!
Superman!
Weeeee!!!

Hay maze with holes to duck down and hide.

Little Engineer Jonas

Jonas pretending to milk a cow.

Watching the pumpkin launcher! It was amazing to watch!

What a sweet photo of Jonas! Do you see the Rockie Mountains behind him...it was breathtaking...snowy peaks!

Corn launcher! Go Jonas Go!

Last, we walked through the corn maze and had a ball chasing each other.

Date night with Aunt Mo

Aunt Mo came over last night so Matt and I could go on a date. We haven't been out since Silas was 2 months old. It was a fabulous night and talked all through dinner. It was most needed and we thank Margaret so much. She had a whole night planned with the boys.

Made creepy eyeballs with pudding and candy.

And then witches hats out of chocolate rice krispies and candy.

Later that evening, they snuggled up on the couch and watched Jonas' favorite movie(and given by Aunt Mo), CARS. We love you Margaret!

Silas first time walking

Ok...so this isn't the video of him walking because I was too late to catch it on camera, but this video is still adorable. However, TODAY was the day that Silas first walked. We were visiting Matt at school to show off the boys costumes and Silas walked 7-8 steps on his own. He decided to let go of a desk and walk towards Matt. We didn't realize it until he was out in the middle of the room, laughing. What a great memory!

The beginning of trick or treating

Jonas and Silas were able to try out their costumes for the first time today. Our library had a special Halloween storytime and a parade through the library to trick or treat. It was very fun! And Jonas loved seeing all the other kid's costumes. Pooh Bear was happy to just be there with his brother and mom.

We have the next few days to dress up again and attend church parties to our local community trick or treat event. Check back to see more photos of our little engineer and Pooh bear.

Brothers

I have been making some photo books for the boys lately and came across these photos of them. See if you can guess who is who?

These last photos were taken in Winter Park at Tom and Corine's condo. I didn't realize that I had the same shirt on Silas as I did with Jonas when he was 1 year old at their condo too. Wild! They are so stinking cute!

Winter Park weekend trip

We were hoping to enjoy an autumn trip in the mountains one last time, but it was winter up there. However, we still made the most of it and enjoyed time with our friends Tom and Corine.
Went for several walks...muddy and snowy walks. The best part of the trip was when Jonas asked "Mom, where does snow come from?" He is so intrigued about nature and wants to know about everything.

The Sweeneys condo has a club house where we played in the racquetball courts for hours. Silas would just roll the soccer ball and chase it. He was happy!

Jonas made sure to play with every ball and practiced it until he could master it. First time playing racquetball and was good at it. Had a stance of a baseball player...lol!

First he played basketball with this ball but decided playing soccer would be more fun. You felt like you were in a pinball machine, lots of balls bouncing off everywhere.

Matt showing off his unbelievable talent of juggling with 3 different sizes and weight of each ball.

The pool was heated to 85 degrees and the boys were loving it. We swam for an hour and then sat in the hot tub for 10 minutes. What an experience! It was 35 degrees outside and we were swimming!

Jonas LOVED his log bed to sleep in every night. He looked so small in a big double bed.

Our friends, Tom and Corine! Thanks for everything! Spending time with us(like we use to) and loving on our boys!

Silas at 1 year old

Now that Silas is 1 year old, life is good! This past year was good as well but lots of road blocks and sleepless nights. We are all sleeping 10 hours(other than the nights Matt and I hang out in the hot tub after the boys are down) and Silas eats everything we do. I have started to wean him and he loves our fresh delivery of whole milk out of a sippy cup. He is so happy. We went to his check up appointment with our amazing pediatrician and everything is great! Healthy boy! He weighs 23 lb 14.5oz(64%) and is 2' 8"(96%). He is the same weight as Jonas was at 1 year but much taller. WOW!

We love you Silas!! You are a funny dude!
