June 27th-left for Boston to visit friends and family for 2 weeks. Our flight took off at 6:30pm putting us in Boston at midnight. Jonas was so excited to fly and meet his friends and family, that he didn't sleep a wink on the plane. He sat near the window in which he looked out most of the time. There was a magnificent firework show(thunderstorm) from God up above.
At DIA waiting to load. Jonas was so intrigued about how everything worked to
get a plane to take off. It was like he has never seen it before(or never remembered). By 1 years old, he had flown 4 times. Hopefully, by now he will start remembering these memories.
Our first stop was visiting our good friends, Tim and Sarah Holmes with their 2 boys, Matthew(10) and Carter(1).
All abroad! Next stop to the pool at Tim's dad's house.
Multitude of train rides. Jonas never got sick of it.
Afternoon past time was catching frogs, tadpoles, fish, and crawfish with Tim's oldest son, Matthew...aka Frog extraordinaire, in their backyard pond. During the winter, they ice skate and play hockey. Wonderland!!!
Feeding their ducks.
Such enormous frogs! Silas loved it.
Drove back on the Gator to play in the sandbox.
Here comes the John Deere front loader tractor. This is just the beginning of John Deere tractor rides for our boys. Tim-you had them at hello when we arrived at your house...lol!
Silas looking cute especially with his curls. It was very hot and humid so we enjoyed the cute curly locks.
Back to the pool on the train.
Several water fights, jumps, and more!
Tim and his dad love to collect antique cars and of course John Deere tractors. But this one was fun to drive around in for cruising. Silas is ready to drive.
As well as the bus.
Tim and his family own a school bus company which is next door. I forget how many buses, but as you can see there's a lot just in this photo. There has to be 3 times as more. Future help right here for my boys' teenage life in the summer?
The BEST part...Backhoe operating! Uncle Tim took the boys out on a ride to stir up some compost and move it around. Every boy's DREAM!
Last but not least, a boom lift. Something Tim bought to paint his house and of course rides for little ones.
We had such a fabulous time! Jonas didn't want to leave but our next stop, a weekend in New Hampshire with the cousins and Holmes family.
