Our annual Christmas cutting tree day is usually the weekend after Thanksgiving. Daddy's favorite holiday is Thanksgiving so we make sure to celebrate that holiday before we move onto the next. Since before the boys were born, we have been cutting our own Charlie Brown Christmas tree. Such a fun tradition for us!
First stop is to say hello to Smokey the Bear.
Off for the hunt. And here we have some hunters(Cohen, Haakon, Jonas and Silas) with their stick guns and stick bows and arrows.
Jonas found the tree this year. So proud!
The first cut!
Family photo!
Silas being a huge help with Dad carrying the tree back to our truck.
There is always time to say hello to Santa Claus at the local fire department where we eat chili and chocolate cake.
The boys really believed they were on Santa's lap this year and so they decided to tell him one thing they wanted for Christmas...Lego set of course.
Put Christmas music on while the boys decorated the tree all by themselves(first time) and I made the home feel festive with more decorations.
Ending the night with reading Christmas books until the boys were tired!
Tis the season!
