I love this time of year! Christmas season! It's even more special now that we have 2 boys and how much they love the lights, story of Jesus, baking, and more.
Today was the first day of advent in which we made a chain link garland and wrote down an activity to do with the family everyday.
Our first activity was setting up the Nativity by Playskool given to Jonas last year. However, he doesn't remember anything about Christmas last year, so this is all new to him and makes him so happy. He was adamant about keeping Jesus close with his mom(Mary) and dad(Joseph) and staying warm in the stable. He asked if the angel is in his room tonight? And also said "this is fun". He says the cutest things.By the way, he loves being naked at home if you haven't noticed.
Another funny thing happened today. I asked him "why are you a boy and I'm a girl?" Jonas answered, "because my name is Jonas and you are a mommy." So precious!
Snack time on the rug together. So adorable!
