Bryce Canyon National Park, South Campground, and 30 degrees cooler than Zion. Yeah!
We took passel of majestic photos, so I will again, try to make it brief.
Junior Rangers working hard on their workbooks the minute we set up camp. Jonas loved completing the word search and playing bingo with nature things.
Every night, Eli and Syd switched sleeping in the middle of Jonas and Silas. What special cousin memories these will be.
First morning we journeyed on to Navajo Loop, the most traveled trail and more rocks fall on this trail than any other trail in the park!
These ususaul landforms are called hoodoos and we trailed down for miles.
Bat cousins!
Breakdancing in a cave!
These manmade cairns were formed originally for people to find where the trails go. But the ones we saw in the park, were mainly for art. This one was the tallest!
Our last 1/2 mile the wind started to pick up. Silas was in charge of holding daddy's hat.
Thirty something year old 'He-men'
Back at camp consisted a lot of bike riding,
reading,
hide and seek game,
cooking on the campfire(first time and maybe only time this summer with all the fire bans),
tic tac toe and checkers,
and hours of baseball!
Next morning we headed out of the park to wander a place called Mossy Cave.
It was a short hike and the mossy cave was not that spectacular so played around a waterfall.
Silas was memorized by sitting under the waterfall.
Eli and Jonas, mountain kids!
Silas and Syd always looking cute!
This is our look after 8 days of not showering. Hee!
Off to Bryce Point our last night there to view the sunset. WOW...it was remarkable!
