So I sit here restless the night before Silas' 2nd birthday. Where did the time go? How is he 2 years old already? These last days have been heavy with tears for me. Why, you ask? I am overwhelmed with thoughts that these last 2 years with him are history now. Just pictures to look back and stories to tell now. These are precious moments and I don't want to forget them.
Reading his favorite book, Thomas the train, while brushing his teeth. So content and in the moment!
For the very first time, Silas pointed to the bathroom and said "poop"! He wanted to poop on the potty. He did it! We did the potty dance and he wanted to wash his hands by himself. He is growing up! These are good memories!
Off to frost his birthday cake before bed.
