We took our kitten in to the vet(in which Jonas explained to Silas on the way over that "veterinary's are doctors for pets but our doctor is for people") to have he/she checked out and find out the gender. Sure enough, it's a boy! I think we are made to have boys in the this house. Lol! His name is George! Matt named him the first day we got him because he was curious...just like Curious George. We love him and he loves us. Wherever we are in the house he goes. He is already trained with the litter box and roams all around the house when we are not home. He is so good! The vet said we have a very mild, tenderhearted, and exquisite cat, perfect for a home that has kids.
Most nights, George will curl up with Jonas on his bed and sleep until we go to bed.
Sometimes he hops into our bed with Matt for some snuggle time.
George has been a huge gift and change of pace during this busy season of life. Matt will come home just elated to hold him and give kisses(yea...Matt is smitten for this cat, isn't it crazy?) and Jonas wakes up so happy to see George every morning. Some mornings that I don't wake up before the boys, Jonas will let George out of the laundry room and just play until I'm out of bed. So nice!
