Fall is officially here, however, it's still been unseasonably warm. The days are getting shorter and a few trees are starting to change but it feels like summer most days. High 80's and some days it's been in the 90's. It's amazing! We have definitely enjoyed being outside but I have been dying to bake and make special fall treats. So we have begun.
Chocolate dipped apricots are a nice snack. Of course, the boys loved getting their fingers dipped in the chocolate too. Can you tell who my messy vs clean son?:)
Jonas loves baking! He makes sure every little morsel is in the bowl or in his mouth.
Sugar cookies made out of leaves and pumpkins. We stirred up some frosting with anise extract...it was delicious!
Upper canines have turned into large tusks...yikes!:)
On one of the hot days, we made up a batch of vanilla pops. Vanilla yogurt, milk, and a little honey...they were nice to cool down.
