Our new kitten

I can not believe we have added another addition to our family, especially a pet! But we have wanted a cat for some time now(ok, I have wanted a cat), and my girlfriend had a litter from her sister's farm in Nebraska and needed to give some of them away. We picked one! The one that crawled up Matt's pant leg and would follow wherever he went. We haven't figured out if the kitten is a boy or a girl. But Jonas likes Lucy for a girl and Matt likes George for a boy. Silas has already called him 'George' but for now it's kitty cat. We will find out eventually.

This is Jonas with the kitten...the closest he is with it right now. Just warming up to him. Tonight he actually let the kitten lie in bed with him and they both fell asleep together. Too bad the battery in my camera was dead but I'm sure there will be more precious moments.

Silas, Silas, Silas! He is so ecstatic that he can't keep his hands off of it. I'm sure glad the Ragdoll kitten is easy going and very affectionate.

Such big blue eyes and a soft coat. We love him! So easy, so fun, so loving, and so perfect for our family!

This kitten has put some life into our busy life! He/she has put a huge smile on each one of our faces even when we had a long day! It's amazing! Matt has a little friend at night in the garage while working on bikes and the boys have another playmate. And I...well, I just love the cuddling on the lap and reading a good book with it.
